Strings..?

G'day

I'm just wandering what strings are best sounding on my Mike Dirnt Signature Precision Bass Guitar. I'm thinking of getting Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings, but i would like some ideas please!

My teacher said some brand that was like Wil - sumfin i duno but yeah. So i would like sum ideas please?

There is no best. Try the Slinkies and if you don't like them, try something else. I started with GHS Boomers, moved to Slinkies, LaBella Hard Rockin' Steels, short stint with Rotosounds and am now using D'Addario's almost exclusively.

+1 (except for the LaBella's) I really like D'Addario Chromes on my P bass, great sound and they last forever.

well he does have a MD sig bass, im going to assume you want a brighter tone correct? try some Ernie Ball's, if you had a better budget than DR's would be good but im not sure how much they are in Australia.
