Anyone have any recommendations for strings for a Ibanez gsr 206? Just bought one today. The stock strings are a little rough. Thanks

gonna get a LOT better answers if you're a little specific about what you like.

stainless steel? round wounds? flat wounds? contact core?

all that madness.

I've been using flats on my 4 string, but the whole point of my 6 string experiment is to break out of the pattern (all 4s, all flats, all the time). So any string that you've been really impressed with I'd like to hear about. Flats, round, etc.

i had my Dean Edge 6's (decent basses once a pro setup's been done. i have big hands so Ibby necks have always been a bit cramped for me) setup for GHS contact core's. just bright enough for how i like to play, relatively cheap (i think about $30 a set), and seem to last angood while.

hope that helps.

later!
