strings for 6-string fretless

I'm this close to having my new (to me) fretless paid off and am wondering about strings. I've thought about flats, but the only ones I've seen in a six string set are from Carvin (Labella???). I'm going for more of a Pino sound than a Jaco sound.

The carvin set is a good set of strings, and yes, they are made by Labella. The price is right on them as well. Give them a shot.

If you haven't already done so, check out JustStrings , lots of 6 string sets from a bunch of manufacturers. I know in my area it's almost impossible to find 6 string sets of any type in the shops .....

I personally really like the LaBella flats, but you might want to look at some TI's if you prefer a little less tension. D'Addario, Dean Markley, SIT and many others have 6 string sets in flats, rounds, chrome, whatever ...

If I want flats on my carvin 6 strings fretless I got with Labella flatwound. But they are hard on fingertip when they are fresh.

On fretless I love roundwound , I cut all the treble on my bass and amp. It has just enough treble to cut trough while having a decent amount of bass and mawh

I have been using SIT Silencers for my fretless 6 ever since I got it. Great strings. I'd like to try the Elixir strings (I used those on my fretless 4) but they are so intensly expensive here.
