Strings for '68 Precision Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

I'm interested in D'Addario EXL Nickel Round Wound strings (45-100). They're available in several scale lengths. Which set is the proper length for a stock '68 Fender Precision?

Thanks!

D'Addario's standard long scale strings fit it. I think it's EXL-160. EXL-165 are the 45/65/85/105 and I think the EXL-170 is the heavier (50/70/85/105) and the EXL-160 is 45/65/80/100 set.
