I just put on a set of status nylon ape wounds that sound pretty good.

GHS Brite Flats for acoustc fretless (for playing jazz). I've tried soooo many strings and always come back to the bright flats.


Some other choices depending on the tone you want, tension you need, and style that you play:

D'adario Chromes
La Bella tape wounds

This is what I have on my Dragonfly 5, and They're good enough. The slightly higher gage on the B meant it was a little tricky getting the peg in, but other than that great warm tone.

IT was a chore to get those apes to be still long enough to rap in nylon.

either some nylon string... or , what i recomend, TI (thomastik infeld) jazz flats.
