I'm looking for a good set of strings for my P-Bass. I have tried Ernie Ball and it's sound like crap!! I need a good vintage sound!

Thanks

I love slinkys on my P-basses ... but maybe what you're looking for is a set of LaBella flatwounds?

I'm no help on strings but I'm very interested in your American Vintage '62 Precision. That's exactly the bass I'm seriously considering investing in...probably a black one with a rosewood neck. But am keen to hear what the consensus is between the '62 Vintage, the '57 Vintage, and possibly a regular American Precision. Any wisdom?

Mine wears TI Jazz Flats-- wouldn't use anything else.
