My E and A strings are buzzing and I don't know what the problem is, I tried tuning my bass and it didn't work. Any ideas?

Have you checked neck relief and/or saddle height?

Nut slot depth? Too few windings on the tuning posts? There are too many variables, and you have provided too few details.

What part of the world are you in, and do you have a bass tech in your area?

Are they new strings? Are they buzzing on every note you play? Roundwounds or flatwounds? What kind of bass?

I'm hardly the guy to give you the answer, but you're going to have to supply more info if you want one at all.

Setting up a bass takes research, time, and experience. Are you up for that? Some of us take it to a local music store that knows their stuff, and others with patience take the other road.

Happy New Year!
