Strings for Fender MIA Standard Jazz Bass Through Body

Hi I have been having some trouble finding the right stings to string through body for my MIA Standard Jazz bass. I tired the xl170 D'Addario but found that they may be to short. I read that I would most likely need the super long vs long scale ugh.
Does anyone have any recommendations for it that I might be able to find at GC.
I use DR strings on my MIA jazz and their normal strings are long enough to go through the body. They are a bit more expensive than some of the other strings out there, but they are worth it. I personally use their Hi Beams and Fat Beams. I haven't tried their other strings yet, but they all get a lot of love around here, expecially the Sunbeams. Most music stores and websites will have these in stock.
I've tried different strings on my MIA jazz both thru body and top load thru the bridge. I cant tell any difference. None. Not in tone or feel. The only thing that makes any difference to me is the type of string.

I haven't noticed any difference either, except for string type.
