I use Fender 8250s in all of my Fender basses. They don't get alot of talk around here, but they are great strings.

LaBella Hard Rockin Steels, Elixir Nanowebs, Ken Smith Burners and TI flats, JF-345's These were the best out of 9 different sets I tried; I'd still like to try the Fender 8250's and the Ken smith Compressors......Enjoy your fabulous bass!

My used RBIV came with a worn in set of ProSteels.

Not sure if i's the bass or the strings but the combination sounds great.
