strings in fretless uesd by Marcus Miller

Do you guys have ideas of the string (flat or round) that Marcus Miller used on the below songs???
I know he used DR fatbeams on hid fodera emperor 5 with ebony fingerboard, but not on the belows:

I'm thinking to have a new fretless but can't choose from ebony and rosewood / string (flat vs round)......

On his Fodera Monarch 4 Fretless (the one that he used on Miles' Tutu), he used round wound strings...

So how did he treat with scratching of fingerboard???
Did he maintained his fodera by Fodera Guitars???

Furthermore, hoe Fodera guitars treated with rosewood fretless???
