| Strings for my custom

Hi everyone, Im Erik from Orlando florida. I currently own a custom made 5 string created by a nearby shop. Right now i use Conklin Snake Skins. I really like the strings. They last FOREVER, sound great (piano like tone), and have great tension for faster playing using finger style. The only problem i have with them is that the G string seems too tight. I feel that it slows me down when i slap. Does anyone here know of strings that get the same amazing piano like clarity but are also great for slap? I am thinking buying some fodera strings from bass central, and if i dont like them i can just put the snake skins back on. Thanks for your replies in advance. |
