Strings for my ESP F104

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an active ESP-F104 that I usually string with D'Addario ProSteel XL's. I usually keep the bass EQ cranked, and EQ through the amp and pedalboard (ME-50B).

I'm playing a lot of 70's to current classic, top40 and hard rock songs and taking lessons now. Both of which force me to access a lot more of the fretboard. I am also a lot more open to EQing at the bass as well now

I feel the ProSteels are too bright on the D and G string, especially the G, and I am looking for something a little mellower but still with punch, if that makes sense.

I'm also looking for silk ends as they were recommended to me by my teacher.

Any recommendations?

Cheers,
