Strings for my Fender Deluxe Active Jazz

Sign in to disble this ad
Just picked it up yesterday (I know, pics coming soon). BadAss II bridge, etc. It's an '05 model. Vintage White with Tort pickguard.

Anyway, it came with a set of Fender Rounds. I'm planning on slapping on flats. I happen to have two sets at home:

LaBella Deep Talkin' Jamersons
D'Addario Chromes

I'm trying to decide which I'll put on first. Anyone using flats on their Deluxe Active Jazz?

Thanks in advance.

i woldn't dare slapping on jamersons.

i won't sound for slap and will kill your index finger for pop.

a lighter gauge set of chromes could be the ticket. like 40-95 or 45-100.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. Thanks for pushing me in that direction.
