Strings for my Warwick

Sign in to disble this ad
I've just got a Warwick Streamer Lx 5 strings.
What strings should i buy :
-Ernie Ball Power Slinky 50 70 85 105 135
or
-Rotosound RS 665 LD 45 65 80 105 130

I play tuned one tone lower then normal.

Do they fit on my Warwick? I've heard that not any type of strings are suitable on Warwicks.

Depends on the Warwick, I use DR's, High Beams on my Katana and $$ and Long necks on my SN Infinity because it need taperd strings.
I like thicker strings myself except on my Dingwalls.

On my 'wick I use Rotosound swing bass .40 - .100 and they sound nice, but yeah DR hi beams and Warwick black labels also sound pretty cool too.

On my Streamer's I use Ken Smith strings.

I've always used D'addario XL170's on my Sadowsky, but their to short for the Streamers. You need to find a set super long scale strings for the Streamer's.
D'addario (XL170SL) makes them but it seems no one every stocks them so I went with the Smith's, Best choice in strings I've made. Ken's got my business.
