hi
ive got a warwick thumb 4 and i hvnt had a lot of experience with different strings, ive mainly stuck to DR marcus millers and some nickel d'adarios(not sure which ones) but i still havn't found 'my sound'. i mainly play walking basslines and funk/jazz stuff.
i was going to try some of the following strings:

T.I Jazz flats
Fodera Victor wooten sig.
DR sunbeam
dean markley SR2000.

have you had experience with any of these strings?
if so, did u dislike/like them? and why so?
Thanks.
o yeah and i was wondering a while ago which strings i would put on my thumb to get an
a)rocco prestia sound
b)jamiroquai sound?
Cheers

I'd give the Sunbeams a try. It'll give you the best of both worlds, based on your previous choices - DR Fatbeams (steel) & D'addario nickels. Nice, smooth feel and they break in nicely too! My favorite roundwound string.

I'd go with flats for that type of tone - either TI's or LaBella's, IMO. Good luck!
