"Regular" (34" scale, 'long scale') strings will work just fine,
but you should terminate them at the bridge vs. running them
thru-body
For instance, terminating at the bridge, I've used TI JF3
44's and
Rotosound RS88-
LD's on my Ripper. Conversely, stringing
thru-body, I've used TI JF3
64's and Rotosound RS88-
