Strings that sound like EB Hybrids but last longer?

I love the tone of these strings when I first put them on my bass. After a week or 2, they sound dreadful. Buying a set of strings every 3 weeks is draining my cash so I need some alternative strings that will last a lot longer. Any thoughts guys?
