Strings for Standard C tuning????

Sign in to disble this ad
I am in a slight bind. Wondering if anyone can suggest some good stings for a standard C tuning. I play a Fender Jaguar bass which i love. The band i am currently in decided to do a c tuning because well it sounds sweet for the " Doom metal / Stoner rock" that we play. Basically just lookin for some input before i blow the loot. thanks alot

I used to take the bottom 4 strings from a 5 string set to tune low, I would just get some heavy strings for a C tuning.

yeah ive always found that a heavy set of strings will do fine with any drop tuning, i used to play in a Death Metal band that played alot of Drob B and i was playing on a Fender Jazz

if that doesnt work just go for the lower 4 of a 5 string set
