Strings for a T-40

Should I go flatwound for thump or roundwound for growl. I have a set of each and I'm just itchin to put a fresh set on when the bass arrives and make the neighbors mad.

The T-40 thumps enough on it's own..

Depending on which exact setup you have, sometimes used strings seem to be the best option.

I run flatwounds on my fretless T-40 and rounds on my maple neck.
