| Strongest taper wound string?

OK, I've got 2 warwicks so I'm stuck using the taper wound strings. The problem is, I ALWAYS break the B string way before the set sounds dead. I mean lately, that's been after 4 gigs......it's getting expensive. Back in the stingray days I could make a set of strings last way longer. I am currently using Daddario, i've used both the regular xl's and the slow wounds. Anyone know which string brand seems to not break as fast? |
