Is that a gimmick or what?

Anyone used these?

For those who aren't familiar with them, here's a description from the GHS website:

I have a set on my Yamaha and have had them on for a real long time, I personally like them, they have a good sound and after they sorta die they still have a pretty good tone IMO. I dont use them on my Ibanez, I use DR Hi Beams because of the high amounts of snap I get from them but for good strings that last a decent amount of time the Sub's are good
