I'm using Thomastik Jazz Flats on my 35" six-string. I got the JF365 36" 5-string set, and a JF34033 high C (which is just long enough).

I'm using Fender brand "Super Bass" nickel plated steel rounds on my 35" 6 string bass. I love 'em.
