Suggestions for new type of string?

I currently am using Dean Markley Blue Steels, and I have liked them for a while, but I want a change. Plus, these ones are dying on me. So, the question is... Does anyone know of a decent string brand that would be better/different than the blue steels? I am using a yamaha bass in a SWR LA15 amp. I want to get tone similar to flea. I have been looking at:

Rotosound
GHS
DR
etc..

DR Lo-Riders might work for you. A lot of people like the new Prosteels by d'addario.
