Suggestions on strings for kingston

Sign in to disble this ad
Good Sunday morning, TB. I have a kingston heir and like the title says I would like your suggestions for a new set of strings. I've upgraded the stock electronics with Barts but as I was playing the other day I though the stock strings were lacking in personality. I've only ever used DRs and Boomers and I'm wondering if anyone would make recommendations on what they think would sound good with this set up (in-line neck pup and quad coil bridge).

I did a search for this topic and couldn't find anything, so sorry if I missed it. Thanks.

Have you tried DR's and Boomers on it? Normally ones fave strings will work well on most basses for the same reason you like those strings on other basses youve owned.

I love DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams. I use them on all of my basses.
