So you're looking for heavy gauge nickels, that are smooth?

Onlay way to get 'greasy' is coated. Elixir, Black Beauties, etc.

I recently have gone back to D'addario XL's on me 6er as I was sick of paying $65 a set for strings, and I wanted the .135 B. D'addario goes to a .115 E I believe.

I used to use D'Addario XLs in .050-.105 on my P bass; might give you what you're looking for.
