Switching Gauges

Sign in to disble this ad
My friend said this messes with the neck, but i was planning on putting on some lighter gauge DR Hi-Beams on my Jazz rather than the heavier ones that came with it stock.

Should i take any extra precautions when switching gauges or am i good to go?

May require minor tweaks of the relief, string height, and intonation to accommodate the lower tension...but that's half the fun.
