SX PRECISION OR ANY PRECISION!!

I currently have a set of regular eb slinkys on my p-bass. some of the songs in my band require some slap bass lines. however, a majority of the time i just play fingerstyle. other than the eb's, whats a godd roundwound string for slapping? i usually play with a heavier gauge string bc of the hip-hop element in the band (big low end). i am considering rotosound, bass boomers, or hybrid/super slinkys bc my budget is $25 or so. thanks and help a brotha out!!

DR HiBeams for 4 string bass is $24.99 at GC online. I play on those. They're tasty.

Hi-beams - good for all occasions (except when you need flatwounds).

EBMM Hybrid Slinkys. They have the extra gauge and feel great.

Strings to consider

I would definetly sample the Rotosound swing 66's. I've used them for over 25 years on my P-bass and have loved the sound. They will also match your price range.
