Taper B to match D'Addario EXL 170

here is my dilemma:
I quite like to sound and feel of the EXLs, but the B-string doesnt intonate too well on my bass. I would need to shift the bridge to extend the scale by app. 5mm to get the string to intonate cleanly. I've had the the same problem with all straight wound strings I've tried so far.

I've tried a set of Sadowsky Nickels with a taperwound B, which was great. The adjustment range of the bridge was just enough.

The thing is, the Sadowskys are pretty pricey here, the D'Addarios as Twin pack are nearly half the price of the Sadowskys.

So, who manufactures and offers single tw-B's to match the EXL ?
or what would be a good alternative ?

D'Addario makes tapered B strings. juststrings.com has them as singles.

I just have to find a source in Germany for them, never seen any tw B's here...

shucks, the tapered B's are not imported to Germany, at least they are not listed on the importer's web site
