Taper core flat wounds, do they exist?

Someone told me DR is making them, can't seem to confirm. Know of any other makers of such an item?

DR is now making a Hi-Beam flatwound which is a round core string but not exposed/tapered at the bridge end. I don't think there are any manufacturers that make a full set of tapered flatwounds. I'm assuming you want all the strings tapered, not just the B and E correct? I think Labella might do them custom for you. Call them and see.

DR Flatwounds?

I hadn't heard about the DR High Beam Flatwounds, has anyone tried them yet? If so I would love to read a review.

I've had these on order from juststrings for over a month, they have not gotten any from DR and even the DR website doesn't show any flats. I'm beginning to think this is just rumour.

And they are some NICE flats. Strong focused fundamental that flats are known for but still bright enough to give a good slap tone and real focus and clarity on the B string.

I've searched and can't find a set of tapered flats. The Sadowsky's tapered B is better than nothing.

Does anyone know of any tapered flats Btw Etw Atw Dtw? I guess they don't make them yet.

I have a hipshot piezo saddle bridge and tapered strings fit way better.
