Taper wound for though-body stringing?

Sign in to disble this ad
I did a search, but didn't see anything that addresses the combination of through body stringing and roundwound tapered strings. I'm looking for a brand that has a long enough taper to go through the body. Anyone else using strings like this? Thanks!

It depends on the bass, on my Peavey Mill 5+, Fender, Carvin (LaBella) and Ken Smith Taper Core have all fit.
But on my 55-01 only Lakland and DR longnecks have fit.

Fender 8250's. Taper wound long enough to be tapered at the bridge in a string through body.
