I'm currently on the lookout for a set with a tapered B & E. Anybody here with suggestions? Which set of DR's has these 2 string tapered?

Tapered B/E

Looks like a standard problem.
Dean Markley SR2000 may I suggest. The hole set is tapered but the G and higher.

Fender offers strings that have a tapered B and E. I've used them and didn't think they were half bad although I love DR Strings.

Grab yourself a set of Ken Smith Burners and you'll never look back. The sets that have the "TC" suffix are taper cores.

+1 on the Fender SuperBass 8250s set. Nickelplated steel. 45, 65, 85, 110tw, 130tw.
Sound great, last pretty long, and aren't expensive.

DR's Five string set is DRS_TMH-45

Long Neck Hex Core

BTW; I wonder why DR doesn't make tapered round core? Intonation issues?

Hope this helps,
God Bless, Ray
