Tapered B and E Flats

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking about buying one of those new 5 string American standard Fender Jazz basses. I notice that they use a tapered B and E string. Does anyone know of a set of flats that fit this bass with the tapered B and E string? Or is it possible to replace the E string saddle so it will take a regular string? I have a set of La Bella Deep Talking Bass 760FLB's on my bass now and I really like them so anything like these is what I am looking for.

The Fender bridge should take a taper or non taper. Labella says its flats should not go thru body. But the Fender bridges allow for bridge termination. And Labella makes 5 strings sets of flats that I believe have tapered Bs for bridge termination. As does Sadowsky.
