Tapered string question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Guys, I am loving the GHS contact cores I bought awhile back but was interested in other brands that do roughly the same thing. What are other strings you know of that are 'tapered' or have a bare core at the bridge?

I heard DR Low-riders are but is this correct? And is it only for the long scale strings? Thanks again!!

Tons of tapers . . . near-every brand offers them.

SIT have bare cores.

Haha I guess ignorance isn't such bliss. Wow thanks for the info. What's the word on those Rene Martinez nickel-iron strings? That sounds like an interesting combo of metals. Anyone use those?
