tapered strings for my Am Std Jazz

Sign in to disble this ad
Sorry if this has been asked before: what strings would be a good replacement for the string-thru-body design 45-105, tapered if possible? I tried a few tapered and some fit and sounded horrible, and some did not. What do you guys use? I am about to give up and buy a deluxe jazz bridge so I can top load strings!!!

thanks

American Series basses are thru-body AND top load. Unless yours is different for some reason. Older model?
