Beware though, I was told that La Bella tapes may have some QC issues. YMMV in that regard.

| | | | Finally bit the bullet and got some labella's on it. They sound great on it so far. Nice clean sound. |

They sound great, but I find them quite sticky and slow. Would love to find a slightly thinner/lighter gauge in tape wound. I see Fender do some, but they still look pretty thick |

| | | | I use RS88 tapes on my jazz. Absolutely love it. Smooth to play, with fantastic deep bass and a little bit of growling thunder if you dial it in.

If not maybe someone else can chime in. |

50-105, much like typical rounds. They feel like flatwounds under my lef-hand, and the tension is like a light-gauge roundwound. Really great strings!

Definitely worth a try. |

La Bellas are purple.
Rotos are gold.
Fender are black.
D'addario are blue like the Chromes.
