Tapewounds - Keeping them clean
I am about to put on a set of DAddario nylon tapewounds. I am a sweater and clean my flats at least once a week to get the gunk off.
Does the nylon coating collect more or less gunk? Can I use rubbing alcohol on them or will it affect the coating?

Wipe down with a micro fiber cloth after use.
A non abrasive cleaner if you need to.
Since it is a plastic you have to be careful with that, you don't want it melting. I have used bass brites on nylon tapes without issues.

Thanks! I couldn't find any info online about this.
Checked out your online store. I now know who I'm buying my strings from in the future. Thanks again.
