Hi,

can anyone describe the tension of DR Black Beauties? I've heard that the Black Beauties should be pretty low tension, is this right?

Got my dr black beauties (045-105) today. Great sound but i find the tension of the e-string to low (in comparison to the other strings). Do they sell single e-strings?

I think they basically are coated Hi-Beams, which you might've tried? Bootzillas are coated Lo-Riders to my knowledge.

As Carl Anton said it's just coated Hi Beams. Which are very low tension wise. I don't know if the coating should do anything to the tension, I don't think it should make a difference.

Btw, thumbs up to danish people on the board. :P
