Tension difference between Sunbeams and Hibeams

Sign in to disble this ad
Been using sunbeams on all my basses for the last couple of months and really dig the feel/tension of the string, they start out bright, then kind of settle down and hold there tone for a REALLY long time, I kind of want a little brighter tone, and I assume the Hibeams will kind of follow the same tonal pattern just a little brighter. Are the tensions between the two pretty much the same for the 40-100 gauge or are they really different?

Thanks for your input

John
