After lurking around and reading countless thread i bought some Dadario chromes and put them on my vintage mod jazz bass

i am amazed they have a great warm sound great harmonics and a good feel the tension is fine and i dont feel like im missing my rounds in any way shape or form.

i was also lucky i found a pack that had an open pack i got 8 bucks off

TRY FLATS!!

Wow - what a treat to hear from my old amplifier! How you been? Never should have sold you, but when you blew both speakers at that gig... ahh, well...

Seriously - flats are coming back into vogue. Pretty cool tones!
