Thick Half-Rounds

Hey guys, I'm looking for a set of THICK nickel half-round strings. I'm talking .60 .80 .95 .120 .145 gauge. D'Addario doesn't have anything besides .45-.130, even in singles. Anybody know where I can get some?

I have never seen a half-round set like that. The best bet would be to go to www.juststrings.com and see what you can find. You could also look in the single strings section and possibly put something together.
My concern would be what a .60-.145 set might do to your neck, especially since half-rounds/ground wounds are usually a little more high tensioned than many sets of the other types. Good luck with your search.

I was unaware they were of higher tension. I'm looking for a set to drop to G# C# F# B E tuning.

GHS Brite Flats. Just Strings sells singles, I believe.

Well I called my local music store/tech and he said he'd research the gauges I'd need and see if he could order a custom set.

That said, Ken Smith has no large singles.
