Are thicker gauge strings hard on the headstock?

I started putting on thicker gauge strings and have notice the tuning pegs coming loose.

Is there something you have to do if you put thick gauge strings on?

Here are the strings i am using. i didint think there were that thick to start making the tuning pegs loose.
