thiner (guitar gauge) strings for bass.

Hi guys,

Does someone have an experience with shorter diameter strings (guitar strings thickness) and how to get them (for standart 34" bass)?

I'm using TI flats and I find that for me their standart C string is too thick/stiff (033) compared to the rest of the set (a 027/028 should do a better job).

TI has these sizes but it is made for guitar. These days their website is not working in order to ask them these questions.

Thanks a lot.

My Geddy is set up .85-.65-.45-.30 but tuned standard EADG. You need a light touch b/c of the low tension (to put it mildly) & it takes some getting used to, but it sounds killer.

Oh, wait, I guess what I posted doesn't really address your problem. Sorry, disregard my comment.

There are strings called bright funk and they go down to like .025s and .030s
