thinking of flats on my ATK?

I hear thread after thread about putting flags on pbasses but I like my rounds and P sound.

However I was thinking of trying to mellow out my ATK which has more of a stingray sound to it. Opinions on if it would make a big difference in "taming the beast" so to speak.

I've got flats on my ATK 305. It's cool. More thump, less twang. They're GHS custom something; purple silk. Not the greatest flats I've used. Suposed to be extra long scale, but the B isn't long enough to go through-body, although E-G are - something to watch out for. Overall, I'd say it's worth a try.

I had Chromes on my ATK, they were great, enough attack and punch, but great low end and low mids, they were great especially in ''trad'' mode!

I had chromes on my 700, but for now, I have sunbeams on it and like them better.
