Thomasticks

I just got two six sets of thomasticks one round and one flat. The flats sound great on my 6 fretless, unlike alot of flats they are bright but still have a nice flat sound. Very jazzy. The rounds are great and less tence than any string I have played thus far. Over all grade B+

Compared to what?

B+ ? How would you rate them compared to (Roundwounds)
DR Low Beams.
D'Addario Nickel XLs,
Ken Smith Round Wounds.

I'm seriously Thinking about getting a set. . . but if I can get someone else to do my thinking for me . . . :-)

I like the TI's.
I started with Fender rounds on my Squire P-Bass. Next I tried D'Addario's. I went the same route when I bought my Fender Jazz. I next tried those Markely <sp?> freeze dried cryogenic strings. I didn't care for those.

Then, based on a recommendation, I tried the TI "Power Bass" strings. I like these ALOT.
I have since added a set of TI Jazz Flats to the old Squier P.

+1 on the TI Powerbass and Jazz Flats. I use the Powerbass on my Fender Jazz and Musicman Stingray and Sterling basses and the flats on my Godin A4 fretless. I really like the jazz flats for fretless. However, I didn't like the TI flats on my Precision. Fot that bass, I use LaBella flats which are higher tension.

The round wounds are ok but I was only able to get a really light gauge set in six for some reason it may have been the guy that I ordered them from. Anyhow I put them on my usa cirrus six and the strings have almost no tension which would be great on a bass with high tension problems but on my cirrus I had to put a little back bow in the neck after putting them on which I found strange because the bass had a bit too much back bow to start with. Over all they sound great and would work well if you are looking for less tension on a bass with high action. Great strings wrong application. The flats are awesome and even though they are pricey I will continue to use them and already ordered 2 more sets.

The TI powerounds i put on have about the same tension as the 7150 nickel Fenders i had on my P bass before. I hear about the low TI tension but it wasnt there in my case.

The Jazz Rounds and Jazz Flats are the ones with low tension.

I'm using the TI Power Bass strings on my Celinder and they're a really good match. Christian recommends the DR Hi Beams, but I'm loving the TI's.
