Thomastik Flats on String Through Body

I have a P bass where the only option is string through the body. The la bella website says you can't put their flats on these types of basses. Do you think I could put Thomastik flats on a string through bass? It's a lot of money for strings so I wanted to find out first.

Have some on mine. Works fine... no problem at all.

I wonder why La Bella says their flats are incompatible with string through the body.

Thomastics work string-thru like a charm, my fretless is setup as so.

One of the few flats that work great ,string-through. (low tension)

I have them on my thru-body P-bass (2 years now) and never a problem.
