Thomastik-Infeld Jazz round wound tuning question

I just put these strings on and they don't have low tension like I have read. Is it possible that I tuned them way to tight?

What notes are you tuning the strings to?
Also, is the bass properly setup? I mean to say, is the action higher than normal?

I've used jazz rounds and they are very low tension. Do you have a tuner?

I am using BEADGC standard tuning. I have not change my setup from the previous strings so I will probably need to change that but the string are tight on my bass still so I'm not having any problems with it so far. I need to get a new tuner. Right now I'm only using the tuner that is on my Ampeg combo.

Very strange. I would say to you, take it to a guitar tech to give it a look over. TIs are the lowest tension strings I've ever played; and more likely than not, your previous strings were of a higher tension which would make the TIs practically be buzzing every on your neck because their tension wouldn't be enough to bend the neck as much as your previous strings did. Very odd.

Yeah its very strange. I'm not getting any buzz or anything and the strings are really close to normal tension for me.
