Once I've tried these strings there was nothing else! The tone is powerful and full of bass but on the other side it is clear and you hear everything you play! Besides the great sound they last long and keep the sound for months!

What do you think about them?

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but instead of making a new one.. Anyone else have an experience with the Power Bass rock strings?

Considering throwing them on my basses when I'm done with the last set of Rotosounds (Finaly realized how short lifetime they have, had to get an spector to make me notice, hehe.)

Lol, "Power Bass Rock Strings", that must win worst string title ever. No doubt great strings though, give them a go so you can be the guinea pig for us .

As far as the Rotos go, I wouldnt expect much longer bright sound from any other non coated string. I learnt the hard way by getting some Rotos fairly early on, then switching around to find something that lasts longer. Nothing did, then I went back to Rotos.

As has been said before the bright sound on the Rotos does go quick, but this does on any string I have tried. I'm not saying Rotos last a long time, just compared to most others they arent that bad life span wise. The difference being the other strings dont sound half as good as the Rotos when new .

Sorry not to have been more help with the TI's, just thought the Roto stuff may be relevant for you, if you havent switched about too much.

They were my favorite rounds in my power pop/rock band a few years back. They are very high output and extremely well balanced. I totally suggest giving them a try. They do indeed last long.
