Fender Precision with EB Regular Slinkies (50-105). Band style is hip-hop/ riff rock resembling RATM. Some Slapping/Popping riffs. Are these suitable for my style? I want a HEAVY bass sound with less highs BUT I want the slap stuff to come through (without too much zing).

I use EBMM Hybrid Slinkies. They're Nickel wound. Gauge is .45-.105.

I love Slinkies and prefer them over everything else for my SR4 and SR5.

I used to use the stainless steel ones on my P-bass. I got the sound you're talking about, I think they'll suit you well. I would still use them but my local music store stopped carrying them.

I have been very happy with Fender 7250 Nickels on my P Bass for what you just described. I now have a set of Boomers. The Boomers are OK but not as mid rich as the the 7250s. I have not tried the EB.

The 7250s are clearer down low than I think DA XLs are. And have a nicer top end than DA. I like how they slap better than DA. And the mids are present. I don't believe they come any heavier than 45-105 though.

slinks are good strings, tons of tone and the "right" tone that some strings lack, not the best but they are good. I have several sets of diff. gauges including 2 sets of flats which are also pretty nice strings. my fav eb setup has to be slinky's through emg pups, the sounds just completely compliment eachother

Fender strings (7150s) sound like a match for your style. Shoot, there are lots that would work.
