would D'addrio halfwounds reg. fit the thump?

Not a perfect answer.... but....
Thumpiest roundwounds = TI Jazz Flats
Most roundwound sounding flats = TI Jazz Flats
Broken in SIT Silencers can get pretty thumpy also.

The Compressors are currently my favorite string. They feel like smooth rounds, and sound like a warm, thumpy, broken-in round.
