TI flats... 32" on a P-bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
I remember reading a thread on using TI 32" scale flats on 34" scale basses... but I can't find that thread.

Anyone with experience on this?
Thanks

Nope. I use the standard scale on mine.

I have done this. String through the bridge and you will be fine. The 32" set has slightly thicker gauges.

Thanks Johnny... I always string through the bridge.
How many turns did you get on the G post?

Wow....I am not sure it was quite awhile ago that I did it. I was actually told it would be fine by a TI rep. I don't remember it being not enough windings. My guess is you probably don't need to cut them too much.
